The training is taking place between October 16 and 17, 2023 in Antalya, and nearly 70 participants will be present, including members of the General Directorate of Environmental Management, the General Directorate of EIA Permitting and Inspection, the Turkish Environment Agency, and the Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change.
The training is designed to provide an overview of the project and the outputs prepared so far; It includes end-of-waste experts from the EU Member States of Italy, Poland, France, Ireland and Sweden, and the non-EU UK.
Experts will share their best practises for implementing waste management in these countries. Furthermore, experts present specific examples of end-of-waste criteria developed for specific types of waste to be considered within the scope of end-of-waste in Türkiye.
