The kick-off event of the "Technical Assistance for the Development of End-of-Waste Concept in Türkiye" was held in Ankara on June 15, 2023. The project aims to reduce the use of natural resources by promoting the use of secondary raw materials and developing the market for high quality recyclable materials. Within the scope of the project, End-of-Waste criteria will be determined for specific waste types and technical and institutional capacity will be developed to ensure effective implementation. Representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Trade and waste processing facilities, manufacturing industry sector and related sector associations, especially TOBB, participated in the opening event of the project.
