The capacity building training prepared for the glass sector within the scope of our project was organized in Istanbul on February 25, 2025.
The opening speeches were dlivered by Dr. Özlem YILMAZ, Director of the Industrial Waste Management Branch of the Circular Economy and Waste Management Department of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Gözde VARDAR, Project Manager. Both national stakeholder representatives and sector representatives were informed in detail about the End of Waste criteria for the glass sector.
As part of the training, participants were also informed about the End of Waste criteria application model, application process and field inspections. The event ended with group studies and training evaluation session.
