On April 18, 2024, we held our project's Fourth Steering Committee Meeting at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change's premises.
The meeting organized as a hybrid event and was attended by Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Deputy Director General of Environmental Management Sebahattin DÖKMECİ, Programme Manager Çiğdem COYGUN HANDY on behalf of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, Contract Manager Nurnisa ELÇİN, and as well as Operation Coordination Unit representatives and project experts.
Members of the steering committee included representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Climate Change Presidency, The EU Presidency, The Turkish Environment Agency, The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), The Strategy and Budget Presidency, and Consortium members participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, where Project Team Leader Edward Scott CROSSETT and Deputy Team Leader Oğuzhan AKINÇ provided committee members with detailed information about the project and past activities, future activities were also discussed.
