The workshop for evaluating the regulations and guidelines prepared for textile waste within the scope of the Technical Support Project for the Development of the End-of-Waste Concept in Turkiye is being held in Ankara between 13-14 January 2025.

The opening speeches of the workshop, which lasted for two days were made by Dr. Özlem YILMAZ, Director of the Industrial Waste Management Branch of the Circular Economy and Waste Management Department of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Project Manager Gözde VARDAR.

At the event where the draft regulations for the End of Textile Waste criteria were presented by project experts, national stakeholders were asked for their views and feedback on this documents.

In the workshops aimed at supporting the preparation of the regulations and guides developed in the second component of the project, feedback, views and suggestions on the regulations prepared for aluminum, copper and glass cullets were discussed to date.
